Abstract | The expertise is dedicated to the question as to how neuroscientific methods can deliver a better understanding of learning and teaching processes. The first contribution looks at the prospects and limitations of educational neuroscience. The next chapter addresses the question of which implications can be drawn from neuroscientific studies of the human brain for psychological and pedagogical theories. Further contributions address the issues of brain imaging methods in cognitive neuroscience, brain development, Tripartite working memory model, pinpointing cognitive functions in the human brain, activation changes accompanying learning, the dopamine system, direct brain-computer communication and neurofeedback. The expertise was written in collaboration with Christa Neuper and Henrik Saalbach. (DIPF/gs) |
